This course will provide delegates with an awareness of the High Voltage environment on Marine Platforms.

Who should attend this course?

This course is aimed at personnel working indirectly with high voltage systems and who may visit high voltage sites as part of their business.

Qualifications Gained

Delegates who successfully complete the course will be awarded a course completion certificate subject to ‘on the job’ endorsement from a Qualified Trainer.
 

17th Edition

Course Aim

To successfully develop an understanding of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Duration – 1-5 day electrical training course

Entry Qualifications

No entry qualifications are required.

Who should attend this course?

This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.

Course Content

Electricity at Work regulations 1989
IET Regulations.
Safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems.
Theory based

Qualifications Gained

EAL Approved Certificate for 17th Edition
This qualification is designed to provide those seeking progression in their career with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the Electro technical industry.
